Benesch

I am looking for information on a Godfried Benesch he was an artist who was born in Bohemia and lived there during WWII. My family helped his family by sending supplies and money during the war. In return he sent us paintings. Our family still has letters from him which are written in German. I am attempting to get copies of those letters but in the meanwhile I thought I would post this information to see if anyone might have a connection to him or more information.

My g-grandmother was Anna Benes (Benesch) b 1845 in Hlinsko d 1920 in Milwaukee, WI. She was daughter of Antonin Benes of Hlinsko and Marie Moucek of Hlinsko.
