Rose "Rosie" Buresh b 15 May 1865 in Filipov, Bohemia and d 9 Feb 1948 in Pomona, CA. Arrived in US ca 1882. Rose m 18 Oct 1888 in Anthony, Harper Co., KS to Lewis Thomas Kares (Karesh), b. 6 Dec 1864 in Boston,MA. He d 31 Dec 1915 in Laverne, CA. His par are Thomas Kares and Anna Bruha.

Who is Jacob Hebz listed as "grandfather 1880 census for Chicago in the home of Frank Katzum, wife Annie and ch Annie, Francis, Frank, Josie and Barbary? In same home is Mathew Korba, wife Mary and dau Mary Waska with her ch Emily, Frank and Charles. Could Annie Katzum and Mary Waska be dau of Mathias and Mary Korba? Mathias and Mary Korba are listed in Chicago city directory in early to mid 1870s. Then in 1880s they are in Adams County, Wisconsin. Mathias is my gggfa. By 1900 census Mary with son John W. Korba is living in Vaughn Twp, Iron County, WI. Mathias Korba is buried in a large cemetery plot in Friendship, Adams County, WI. We need connections. Were Mary and son John W. Seek info on my maternal great-great-grandparents, Josef Thumwald, Sr., master baker, b. ca. 1820, Staab (Stod or Stodo in Czech), Bohemia. He married Anna Pawlik in Bohemia. Family records indicate that the couple had two children: Josef Thumwald, Jr., a baker in Staab, b. 1878, Staab and d. 1946, Ohio. Josef Jr. has descendants in Ohio and Michigan. Anna? Or Marie?
