I just joined CGSI, so I am not familiar with how things work around here.

My adult children and I are interested in persuing Slovak Citizenship by descent. I have some documents from my grandparents. I am pretty sure I know what some of them are, but I need to have them translated, and I also have questions regarding dates, etc.

I need to know where I can start to find things like birth records and other information I will need to prove my grandparents' citizenship.

I don't know if anyone is able to view my profile, or view the surnames I submitted, but I would be happy to provide whatever information I have.

If someone can point me in the right direction to start finding these things, it would be greatly appreciated.
