Appelt Family from Bohemia, the Liberec, Czech Republic area

I am seeking information about the Wenzel Appelt   family(1813-1854).

His ancestors:  Franz Appelt (DOB 1774) had eight children; Franciscus Appelt (DOB 1750).  

This family all lived in this area:  Alt Harzdorf, Reichenberg, Boehmen Koenigreich, Austria

The family of Wenzel and Karolina Altmann Appelt immigrated to the US in 1853, settled in Detroit, Michigan.  There were five children.  Charles Appelt (1845-1926) was my great-grandfather.  His daughter, Ella (1885-1965) was my grandmother.  Ella was the only descendent of Charles who survived childhood.  Charles had several sisters and brothers so there are lots of cousins out there.  This family was well-educated, entrepreneurial, started businesses, served on the city council in Detroit, and was involved in real estate.  Yet, I know very little about this family.  I visited Liberec ins 2010 and my guide took me to a home and land owned by my ancestors. I know there has been a huge Appelt family reunion in Texas.
