Description

Still searching for family history.
My mother was baptize 1906 in St. Augustine Church in
Bridgeport/Norristown area. I did find that records
are now kept at the Sacred Heart Parish.
My grandfather John Husar possibly married an Annie Tomcek.
Pittsburgh death records show (3rd wife, Elizabeth Hevery)
and his parents as George Husar and Tomcek has his mother.
Not to be rude, does third wife have correct info.
Still searching, joined local library.
Any help is appreciated .

Have you and/or close family members had a DNA test? If so, join then upload DNA file to GEDmatch.com. GEDmatch allows searching from ALL test services, including Ancestry, 23andMe, Heritage and others.

If you join, I can provide my kit number to see if we are related (I may have Hudak godparents and possible relatives from Austria-Hungary).

David, not sure if I saw your name on Ancestry or Heritage. I did both.
I knew my Dad had an Uncle Mike who lived in Ambridge PA.
My Grandfather John Hudak married Anna Balog, I have a copy of their
Marriage application in Allegheny Co PA.

Check out Ancestry member blueridgecycle. He has a HUSAR Family Tree, but it only has 8 people on it. One relative was born in Tresckow, Carbon County PA. North of Philadelphia. Hope this helps. One never knows.

Hi Joanne- What is the birth date for John Husar? Have you found any ship records or naturalization records yet? Jolene

Feb. 25, 1885 is John Husar birth. I have a copy of his draft.
census records. Copy of his 3rd marriage, and a picture.
I think there is a mix up in names on his death papers.
