Born to single mother Marie Kouba 23 Jan 1859 in Vyšné/Hamr/Tábor in southern Bohemia. Immigrated to the New Prague, MN area, possibly with the Kohout family in 1875 and married Jacob Bastyr shortly after arrival. Jacob died of typhoid fever when Rosalie was pregnant with their 3rd daughter. Then she married my GGF Joseph Dvorak in 1880 and they had 5 more children in the Wheatland, Rice Co, MN and New Prague, MN areas. She died in 1943 in Lonsdale, MN.
Why did she emigrate without any immediate family?
Was her first marriage possibly arranged?
