Slovak Pride Database by Helene Cincebeaux

For several decades, long before the advent of online resources, long-time member Helene Cincebeaux has been collecting Slovak surnames and their villages.   The names were sourced from many different places over her years of leading more than 150 tours to the homeland.  Her list, now exceeds 30,000 entries, is free and readily accessible.  "Back in the Day", before church records, census and other material was available it was a very useful way to narrow our search.   

Helene is to be recognized and commended for her lifelong commitment to helping people re-connect with their families in the homeland.

While some of you are aware of it, it's always worth repeating now and then as new researchers come on board.  It's now posted online, at https://slovakpride.org/
