Researching the Stibor Family from Velesin CZ. Franz Stibor and Marie Volsansky came to American in May 1888 through the Port of NY, with their children, Marie, Vincenc (James – my grf) Josef, Anna and Antonie. I would like to exchange information with anyone researching this family. The family appeared on the 1900 census in Chicago IL, at which time Marie was shown as a widow. What happened to Franz? Did he return to CZ, die or desert the family as it was rumored.
