Join Iveta Blahutova for a virtual tour of the Midwest Genealogy Center (MGC) in Independence, Missouri. Iveta is a Genealogy Research Analyst at the MGC and CGSI’s Education Director.
The MGC is a branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library. Its 52,000 sq. ft. collection, covering the entire U.S. and some international, includes over 80,000 family history books, 100,000 local history items, 565,000 microfilms and microfiches, and 7,000 maps.
Iveta will provide a virtual tour and answer questions on how best to access MGC records as you conduct research about your Czech, Slovak, Moravian, Bohemian and Carpatho-Rusyn ancestors.
