Accessing the CGSI Digital Library

In September of 2020 CGSI launched an all-new Digital Library. The CGSI Digital Library is designed to be the repository of information curated to help you research and learn about Czech and Slovak genealogy, history, and culture. Here you will discover a wealth of materials including:

• Presentation Recordings: Watch hundreds of hours of presentation video recordings across a wide variety of interesting and relevant topics.
• Journals: Over 1,000 articles from CGSI's journal publications Naše rodina and the former Ročenka are available in digital format.
• Family Histories: CGSI has collected hundreds of family histories and so far digitized over 70 of them. These can help find family or serve as an inspiration for preserving your own family history.

To access items in the Digital Library, you need to be a current member of CGSI and logged into the site. Watch the video below to view instructions and tips on logging in and accessing member information and content.
