Her Story

My Great Grandfather George Kanuch Roszipany 1865-1941 told Anna Mayer 1872-1955 he was going to America to make money and would be back to get her. He kept his word and came back to Presov for her. They arrived in New York on May 1892 and were married July 17, 1892 in Duluth, Minnesota. I'm not sure why they went to Minnesota, he is 7 years older than her.. They settled in Chicago and had 8 children, the youngest, Ruth is my grandmother.
