Slovaks and Carpatho-Rusyns in Brookside AL

Looking for documentary and oral history interview sources on the Slovak and Rusyn community in the coal mining community of Brookside in northern Alabama. They established two churches : SS. Cyril and Methodius’ Catholic Church (1896) and St. Nicholas’ Russian Orthodox Church (1894). There was also a lodge (#187) of the Greek Catholic Union (GCU) which had 79 members.
