Description

Imrich (John) Turcany & Elizabeth Moj… arrived in US in 1890 and were married in 1897 in New Kensington, PA. Louis Mateyka arrived in 1894…they all ended up in Chicago Heights, IL. It appears the village they both came from was known as Pelvas, or Pelyvas, now known as Plevnik-Drienove. Looking to find out more about these families and the place they came from.
