Would like some help in understanding this area of the Czech Republic. This is where my grandparents Paul/Chlubna are from. Are they villages close to each other?

Nydek is in the parish of Vendryne…not Nydek. Sorry for the typo.

No, the two communities are not located close together. The records for Nydek which is in Silesia are registered in the parish of Nydek. The books are found in the Opava archive. You can view them online here:
