I saw your article on Small Towns and one of my ancestral villages is mentioned.Hrdlorezy and Suchdol. My documentation with Suchdol on it only says Suchdol not Suchdol nad Luznici area. Do you think I’m searching in the right place? Jan Florian, a 3rd cousin, states on his Petition for Naturalization Papers that he was born on July 8, 1881 at Hrdlorezy Bohemia Austria. He arrived in New York on the vessel Barbarrossa that was from Bremmen Germany. He declared his intention on Jan. 31, 1907 He stated that he was married to Terezie Florian and that she was born in Suchdol Bohemia Austria. He had 4 children, all born in Chicago, IL. He took his oath of Allegiance on Feb. 2. 1912. Does this make any sense and can you give me any help or direction? Sincerely, Mary Lou Kozub
