To "Ron Blaha" & "Linda Titera"

Hello from Florida.

I am researching my paternal line, "Tintera".
They seem to have been from Bohemia in the early to mid 1800s.
Specifically from the minor settlements named Kocelovice, Hajany, and, Mracov which are west of present day Blanta CZ.

My father, Vaclav "James Bejamin" Tintera, was born in Chicago in 1895.
My Grandfather Joseph Tintera was born about 1870 and emigrated to the US thru the Port of New York abt 1890.

FYI… FamilySearch.org indicates that the Roman Catholic Church parish for Kocelovice is Lnáře, and that Trebon Regional Archives has online records.

[Log in to FamilySearch.org (create a free account if you don’t already have one). Then click on the Search tab > Research Wiki > Guided Research > Czechia > I know the town > K > Ko > and scroll down to Kocelovice;  then click on Třeboň Regional Archives.]

Or here is a direct link to the Třeboň Regional Archives:

At the archives page, select the Folder Tree tab (you may also need to select the > symbol on the left side of the screen), then Roman Catholic Church > L > Lnáře. Select Book 4 (register B): Births 1854-1878. Go to image 156 to view the birth and baptism record for a Josef Tintera, born Nov 21, 1870 at Kocelovice house 33, baptized Nov 23, 1870.

Or here is the direct link to the parish record page: https://digi.ceskearchivy.cz/5281/156/2714/1495/94/0

Maybe this Josef Tintera is the same as your ancestor?
