Seeking Svihra family members, Connecticut Area

Hello there, 

I am in the beginning of my family research and seeking more information about the Svihra family that moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut around 1890, from the Liptovsky Mikulas and Dovalovo area of Slovakia.  

 I am also interested in finding Ship manifests for the SS Eiger and the SS lahn ships out of Bremen Germany to NY around that time.

There are quite a few references to the Svihra family in the Dovalovo area in both FamilySearch and MyHeritage. Here is one example:

You didn't mention any specific names, so I don't know if these are direct ancestors or not. Family Search also lists more recent Svihra family members in the Bridgeport area (Michael, Robert M. and Oscar E.). 

My Heritage shows an Ondrej Svihra from Lipovsky Mikulas born about 1845. My Heritage requires a subscription, but you can also access it through your local library in most cases.
