DNA Research - Lanškroun Region
Hello,
My name is Tarek Doleschel, and I am a genealogist from Germany researching the history and paternal origins of families from the Lanškroun region in the Czech Republic.
I am the administrator of the Lanškroun Region DNA Project, a genetic genealogy project combining traditional family-history research with Y-DNA testing.
The goal is to identify connections between old local family lines, determine which families share common paternal ancestors, and learn more about the earliest settlers of the region, including the period before hereditary surnames became established.
I am especially looking for men whose direct paternal line, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and so on, comes from the Lanškroun region.
For suitable participants, I am happy to personally cover the full cost of a DNA test, so participation is completely free.
More information about the project:

If your direct paternal ancestors came from the Lanškroun region, or if you know someone whose family has deep roots there, I would be very grateful to hear from you.
Kind regards,
Tarek Doleschel
