The MGC is a branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library. Its 52,000 sq. ft. collection, covering the entire United States and some international, includes over 80,000 family history books, 100,000 local history items, 565,000 microfilms and microfiches, and 7,000 maps.

Iveta will provide a virtual tour and answer questions on how best to access MGC records as you conduct research about your Czech, Slovak, Moravian, Bohemian, and Carpatho-Rusyn ancestors.

She is a moderator of MGC's German Genealogy Group, creates the German e-newsletter ‘The Schrift’, and regularly presents various genealogy ethnic classes. Iveta is a native of Slovakia.
