Pressburger Klezmer Band Celebrates 25 Years, Conversation with Professor Michael Beckerman, Hanukkah blessings by Rabbi Norman Patz

Pressburger Klezmer Band is a famous Slovak ensemble renowned for its eight CDs, one vinyl, and hundreds of concerts in Slovakia as well as around the world. Hardly anybody remembers that this legendary band started as an amateur group of friends in 1995, yet this year they celebrate twenty-five years of their music.

#25 ROOTS is a new concert program, a result of a long and profound research, a songs collection, and musical arrangements. Each song has a unique history and together they present the richness and variety of the klezmer tradition.
