Description

I have been trying to locate the family members of my Grandfather, John Hoferek. Much research done to no avail. I believe he is from the Moravia area. I have seen other HOFEREKs on Ancestry, but they say there is no John in their family tree. Born 1883, Austria

Arrived USA in 1904 from Spytihnev(Spitinau)/Zlin This is all the information I can find. Looking for the town, and family information. Keep hitting dead ends.

Please, check the Moravia Archives on Acta Publica. Here is the link https://www.mza.cz/actapublica/matrika/hledani_obec. Type your place name, choose the time period you need, and check indexes, located usually at the end of the digitized images. This last name was fairly common in this area.
