Czech and Slovak Studies Workshop 2026 | Lincoln, NE
Held at UNL this year, 2026 Czech and Slovak Studies Workshop which will feature panels of faculty and graduate students on a wide variety of topics. The event will begin in the evening on April 23 with a panel on “Bohemian Jewishness: From Poetics to Politics” featuring Jacques Rupnik and Veronika Tuckerova, followed by a keynote lecture on “Bohemia’s Jews and Their Nineteenth Century by Jinrich Toman from the University of Michigan.
Day 2 of the Twenty-Fifth Annual Czech and Slovak Studies Workshop will consist of four sessions and will culminate in a special public event.
Day 3 of the Twenty-Fifth Annual Czech and Slovak Studies Workshop will consist of two sessions and will feature a museum visit as well as a film screening and discussion.
