Kate Vasicek Challis

Kate Vasicek Challis is a fifth generation Texas Czech now living in Ankeny, Iowa. Kate has a BA from Brigham Young University in French teaching with a minor in teaching English to speakers of other languages K-12, and she speaks French and Arabic. Kate has been the author of the blog Czech Out Your Ancestors since 2013. She is currently co- authoring several books about Czech genealogy and is studying the Czech language. She has held the marketing position on the CGSI Executive Committee since 2018.
