Body
Genzer family 1869 census

Here is the Genzer family on the 1869 census. They lived in Frenštát 89. You can see this lovely margin note about their passport number 7922 issued in 1880 to Amerika. František actually died before emigrating, and his wife left with all her kids. She started off in Texas but ended up in Oklahoma.

The Regional Archives of Opava (Zemský Archiv v Opavě) has digital copies of these records, and so does FamilySearch. Actually, census records in the Czech Republic are stored at the district - not regional - level. You would find them in the smaller SOkA archives, not the SOAs and ZAO and MZA Brno.

Here is a link to the census records for MZA Brno.

Other things you might find on this kind of record include information about where they were born, typically including the village.

Censuses were taken and survive and are available for some, but not all, places for these years: 1869, 1880, 1890, 1900, 1910
